The box doesn't automatically make you a great racer......although it may very well make you a better racer, but only as Darrell pointed out, if you are on your game. Gee, That sounds a lot like footbraking doesn't it!!! A lot of the current crop of cars react so quickly to the tree today that it's almost impossible to be consistant enough to go rounds unless you've got a bit of help setting up the car's launch, so in some ways the electronics which fill these cars are as much a tunable component of the car as the suspension settings, but still, it's not an automatic white slip. You & the car still have to perform well for that to happen, box or not.

Bernie, very honest response. If electronics were not an advantage in a race car, racers would not be spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on them. I know they helped me. Sheldon
