two things of note... the traction was all on asphalt back then, and the picture of norm carson's car, the one above it is supposed to be carson's car after it was painted. pics are; ray roach ray roach unknown falcon barry paton bruce riley john armstrong chum bruce norm carson norm carson louis smith sam harper

first let me say this; all the recent pictures are from an old friend of mine and i finally got my hands on the first album so theres more coming soon. a big thanks to john shanahan for saving all the pictures and entrusting them to me to post through this great website for all your viewing pleasure. it is great to look back and remember.... from top to bottom; irwin sedan delivery - kg power bike possibly tommy howard and or wayne gaudet doug wile - ray leaning on guardrail scott riley vega (montague pei) john harper arrow with blower engine 2 of armstrong built pinto armstrongs chevy II 2 dave dean's opel and unknown falcon 2 no rush camaro name ?? 2 more dave dean car with different paint this car was later wrecked at pei i believe and the pics in the nostalgia section state it was then owned by armstrongs. i believe the owner was jim morrison. i stand to be corrected however. bruce riley bill cook vega bruce riley bruce and vince hazel coronet wagon. later owned by ken packham. 3 monza's all unknown older insanity car. possibly bruce riley again. 3 of armstrong built and campainged 58 vette roadster unknown. now if anyone wants to help i-d these cars feel free to add. i got about 50 more good pictures to scan and copy so keep checkin in.

The monza used to belong to ED WEAVER, then Bryan Munroe, and now belongs to Tim Lawerence

Mike, the Monza that Ed and Brian owned and Tim owns now is the Bruce Riley C/EA shown in the earlier set of photos. That car had headlights in those days whereas the Monza in the second set of photos has them removed and smoothed over. I think this Monza may be the one owned by Robin Marcus and then Scott Frasier in the past. It's still around but I can't recall the name of the current owner.

JEFF, as a strange coincidence would have it, Bryan Munroe bought the one that Robin and Scott used to own as well, and yes you are correct, that used to be Bruce's as well, and Tim now owns that. I do have older pictures with the white with orance and red stripes that Weaver owned, but wasn't too sure if that wasnt the car, If I am wrong my bad, must be my older age catching up!!!

The " No Rush " car was originally built and raced by yours truly & Ray Breau as Lucky Pierre II and from there went to Guy " No Rush " LeBlanc and he sold it to Mike MacDonald ( who dropped a 440 Dodge motor in the car .... MERCY ! and now it's owned and raced by wayne Delaney.......
