It's been pretty quiet here on the forum over the last couple of months, but before you know it our first ACSSA race of 2013 will be here. I've been hearing little tidbits of info on what's going on in our Stock/SS racers' garages during the winter months, but how about posting here what you're doing to your car this winter, and what your plans are for 2013?
I know of two cars expected to debut in 2013, at least two more under construction for a future debut, and several engines being freshened and/or upgraded. Some people have also been researching combos for them to possibly buy or build in order to join our series in the near future. Rumours abound that a couple of retired class racers are also considering putting their cars back together and rejoining the fun, so all in all there seems to be a fair bit of activity behind the scenes!
Let's hear what you're up to!

I spent most of my money on an engagement ring so my participation will be limited to watching from the stands again this year and dreaming about Stock/Super Stock cars.

Thanks!
She had never been to a drag race before but we went to both ASSCA/ADRA races in PEI last year and she really liked it. She wants a 1969 Camaro now but a 1971 Nova will have to do for now.

My engine is out, being updated from from it's 10 plus year old trim and joining this decades technology. Gonna replace some worn parts and shift a little weight to see if can get to G minimum if so desired. Hoping to have time for a new cage that will fit my lanky self a little better too!
Dads got a 454 engine nearly completed, with two top end choices waiting, stock legal for a 71 365hp combo, and a super stock top end for the 74 270hp combo. Waiting on a vessel to decide which top end and cam it gets!
Cant wait for the season to start!

It's great to hear that Ed is gathering parts for a return to Stock Eliminator; I'm looking forward to seeing him on the track with us soon! BTW; that '71 Corvette would certainly make a cool home for that engine!
