I was thinking of getting the intake side of my heads milled up to the rocker arm studs. I'm assuming it would then be legal next year. I'll hold off until next year to prevent any controversy.
But for real, bought some stuff to freshen stuff up. Also trying some stuff. Measuring stuff, weighing stuff. Still would like to get a couple more items to make my junk faster.
I went 1.467 in Greenfield with my tiny motor, but only went 11.20 due to lack of fuel for the air. I'd like to get closer to Kelly with his big engine.

Yeah, it should help 60' for sure. May as well take advantage of the under-factored HP rating. The lesser weight difference would easily be made up by your big bore, short stroke engine with bigger valves, more valve lift and shaft mounted rockers. I'm in the wrong class. Should have picked a mid-70's Nova with a very soft IHRA HP rating. Oh, well. Everyone has fun. See you all in May.

I'll be interested to see how it compares to the 383 that was in it. Stocker would be cool too, especially now that 3 speeds are allowed in Powerglide only combos. 327 with a TH200 would be neat, although it would be another G/SA car. I guess a 4 speed would change that... Chris, looks like I have to get caught up then. Any photos of how to neatly attach the unaltered intake manifold once I machine the heads as shown below?
