Its great to hear that fellow racers are keeping busy with their cars over the LONG winter months.
i for one havent had the privlage of being able to work on mine in my own personal garage as i now live in sackville NB and currently live in a basement apparment just down the road from Blair. my wife and i are looking to buy a house to welcome our soon to be new arrivial. we have had a very busy year with the wedding my new job and a new town to get use to. dispite all the things going on in jessica and my life i have mannaged to get the ball rolling on my new 396/375 engine. i started out with a block and crank last fall, and now i have mannaged to with the help of a few sponsors and the support of my loving wife and family get all the major parts bought, and down at A&J Automotive with the the exception of one last shipment of a few odds and ends that i plan to take down this month.
once i get my new motor back home and my trans back from being freshened at Ation Automatics i will then try to convince my dad to let me use his garage for a few weekends so that i can get the car running again and do some gerneral maintenance, also do a few updates to it as well, one of the being a new set of Kirkey seats.
All in all i hope very much to have my car out for a few of the 2013 ACSSA races and get back into the drivers seat. i missed racing very much last year, after my father let me drive his car last summer i have been determined to get my car back on the track... i think he planned that all along to get the "fire under my but" so that i would get my car back together haha!!

Congrats on the upcoming new addition to your family Trevor! With all the things that you've got going on right now it's impressive that you're able to maintain any sort of progress on the Nova at all, and the fact that you intend to be out with it this year is even more impressive. Thanks for the update!

Now the info is starting to flow! We also had a couple of non-ACSSA racers respond, so I created a thread for them as well in the general forum.

I just got off the phone with Mike Stone. He tells me that his SS/IA 1967 Chevy II is on schedule for a Race 1 debut; with a new trans brake in a prepped TH350 ready to go and a fresh shortblock soon to be wrung out on the dyno. Also the body is nearly ready to have a fresh set of graphics which should transform the look of the car. Sounds like a neat new addition to our race fields this year!

Ummm.....this isn't working as smoothly as I hoped.......here's a response I just grabbed off the other thread that was created in the general section earlier today. Oh well! lots of things going on here Jeff, house is done except landscaping, i can see a lot of green concrete being poured, LOL.got the car in the garage this week. Want to start the body and get some paint on(colour TBD) before the motor is ready to go in, probably lots of time, the crank just went to A&J last week to get cleaned up and also waiting for pistons, have most everything else gathered up Good to hear that things are coming along Keith!
