Thanks, I've added both Mark's Duster and Glen's Firebird. I've also separated the cars into catagories to help us get a better idea of how many are actually likely to partake in a local series. This was done using a "best guess" method, so if I've put your car with the wrong bunch let me know and I'll move it.
Based on this; if all cars under construction are ready for next summer, and if 70% of the first bunch and the new cars combined attend each event, then we'd have our 16 car field. Beyond that, if we could get a few cars out of mothballs plus encourage a few of the "away" racers to take part, we might be able to showcase a 32 car field. With the right motivation and desire it's a very reachable goal in my opinion.

Just a heads up to the people that are working on this Stock/Super Stock series, the track operators will be holding their last meeting before the 2010 season sometime from mid to late February. Place, date and time to be determined.
Now I am not speaking on behalf of the other track operators, but if a proposal for this series is to be put forth, then this would be the ideal time.

Not speaking for anyone else but I for one would support S/SS race in greenfield ,I have never raced there but have heard many great things about the track.Would be a nice change if everyone involved could make this happen, some pretty BIG names from the area the may show up to a race held there.Perhaps a race at each of the three "LOCAL" tracks would make things quite interesting.

Mirada we have 5 maritime tracks. And to my knowledge they're all looking for racers all the time.

A race in Greenfield makes a lot of sense to me. The majority of the cars are from the Halifax and eastern Nova Scotia area. If I was free that weekend I would go.
Thanks, Scott

Attention organizers of the S/SS series. This posting has been viewed approximately 5440 times and replied to approximately 90 times and there has been not much input from you, the organizers of the S/SS series of every year to date. It is time to step up and be heard.
I like the others have mentioned would enjoy a complete Maritime S/SS Series. With all the attention that has been given to this posting, I believe we have enough support and interest in class racing to make this happen. What can we do to make this happen? Let me know what I can do to help make this happen. This year!!!

Sorry IndyNut my bad............all five tracks. But things need to start somewhere.MDP RWP GREENFIELD and then expand the series when and if it can grow to something other than a two weekend series, perhaps down the road it could be the BIG show at each track twice a year who knows but baby steps first. And this thread is the first step........Thanks.....and to answer the question about johnny with his cavalier I believe VINCE HAZEL had a very competitive front driver twenty years ago so get the rule book and build a stocker out of your Saturn.
