From what I measured and what I saw on the net for sectional widths I should be able to run 14x32's with no issues.

Nah, some of us can count higher than that....... ;D ;D ;D....I wish you would have stopped yesterday when you saw me in the Marriot's front ender on Wright avenue yesterday.....I had just put a new turbo on it and had it out for a road test - works a little too good I guess as I blew and air/air clamp off on Burnside drive at full boost.....LOL....I sat there for a 1/2 hour only to have our day shift "rookie" mechanic bring me two clamps that were 1/2" too big and a socket that was too shallow to tighten them with anyways..... .....Being a licensed mechanic is great - I can finally torture the rookies like the old guys tortured me.

I got more work done on the 4 link this afternoon. I got the axle brackets boxed in and the 2" round crossmember welded in above the frame brackets. I still need to gusset the frame brackets on the bottom and fit my diagonal link.....Next up is the box installation and cab/rollbar mounts. I'm getting my roll bar and rear coil over shocks from Baer Performance in Ontario, about $1150cdn to my door. I have to measure for the roll bar and order it this week.

I finished my cab mounts and box mounts and got everything bolted down to the new rear frame. I measured for my rollbar as best I could, Bear's in Ontario is going to bend it for me. I have to weld mounts on the frame to weld the rollbar to...I have an idea on what I'm going to do with that. I'm ordering an 8pt roll bar kit, it has rear struts so I was planning to weld them to the front-top of the rear frame. The frame flexs a bit if you stand on the crossmember between the rear frames at the rear of the cab, Here's my question- besides the roll bar is there an easy way to stiffen the joint between the old and new frames? I ordered a set of QA1 single adjustable shocks, it's a complete kit with coils, mounts and etc....The shocks have 12 settings.....The lower mount system fit my 8.8 axle the best and the price was reasonable too.

The frame flex is not abig deal if the roolbar ties everything together well. Remember my frame rails are only 1 5/8 round tube 9 feet long. Run the tubes back to the top of the frame rails where the shocks are attached, at the back of the cab x brace to them along with the x brace between the bars. Run braces from frame rails out to the ends of the main hoop, cab is only along for the ride, do not use it for any strength.

Good point on the x-bracing at the rear - I hadn't though of that.....I guess one can't over brace one's roll bar.
