Sam, the minitubs and ladder bars are a little tough to hide, or else I'd be tempted! LOL
BTW, I gave Ian Tufts some posters today to give you for your area. Thanks for the help!

As much as I'd love to race in Super Stock in our Challenge Series this summer with my Camaro, I'd need a roll cage and the removal of a few illegal engine bits first in order to fit the rules. After all, in order to play it's gotta be legal.
Let me see, I had thought of something else I'd need too.....now what was it......oh yeah, about 300 horsepower more than the old girl has now under the hood!
With that in mind, I guess you won't see me out there this year, at least not in the Challenge. I've got a feeling I'll be busy enough as it is though!

just a couple of notes on this group; pics 1 and 11 are gary maceachern built and driven cars. pic 5 doug havenga i think pic 6 john paul kenny in zap rat. this car is still on pei and driven on a regular basis around summerside. pic 14 john harper in the blown arrow, but look on the roof of the building and you can see the unmistakeable cowboy hat of ken packham. pic 20 shows the very old tree with it's 5 amber lights !!

Could photo #5 be the old Ray Ingram Pinto? Maybe Mike Ingram can confirm it, but it certainly looks like it to me. It was yellow and then red in those days, and the roll bar etc. looks familiar. If it is Ray's old car, then I owned it for awhile in the mid-'90's.

Yeah Jeff that's him. I can tell not only from the car but because he leans forward for the entire 1320. Still does it in the Chevelle. Pretty sure he thinks he crosses the finish line sooner.

the last one is joe roy. dave warman is easy to spot and james cowie in lobo III. the raunchy rodent is carl toombs and i believe that car is now owned and driven by dave constable. the merkel racing car is mr congenality gerry clow and the daddys toy car is jim burns. the dragster pics are interesting to say the least. the one with the fuel tank on top of the front axle has two names on it but i can only make out the second name "cook". BRAVE PEOPLE DRIVE THOSE UNITS. hope some names come forward. the front engine dragster with whellie bars has a 7.90 dial on the scoop. thanks again to John Shanahan for the album and just about 100 pic that were scanned edited and posted for your viewing pleasure. rumor has it John has another album for me so i'll let you know soon.
