Thanks to everyone that was involved in making this first event of 2023 actually happen at Cape Breton Dragway. We fought through everything and everyone on site just pitched in and we almost completed the deal, falling about 2 minutes short of settling the final four spots in Super Pro.
Special thanks to the guys that spent the last 3 months or more working on those track improvements.
Thanks to all our track staff for this weekend, really it was great work in the weather extremes we had. Really, the thank-you's start with our gate staff and their efforts at keeping us all secure, to all those guys that stay the extra 30 minutes and help up us put the race track away. Next, the crew on the staging lanes and start line were tested beyond by the heat. Also, the crew in the tower did some extra technical support reading and in the end it worked out, everyone stood at their posts to fight the fight. Of course thanks also goes out to all the racers that found their way to Cape Breton Dragway because we are always grateful. Another plus, it's so nice to see our spectators returning and enjoying the drag racing.
