Welcome to Monday Night Indy Pics and for tonight we have lots of drag racing information to share around.
To get things underway, Terry Butts has been a great supporter to Cape Breton Dragway for several years and once again the skipper of the Ocean Rebel has donated two dozen lobsters which will be raffled off starting at 8:30 this evening. A great gesture by Terry, and also thanks to Tony MacNeil for his efforts with the raffle too. Tony will post raffle details and there will be two prizes in this raffle with each winner receiving one dozen lobsters. Because of the prize type, the raffle will be restricted to folks located in Cape Breton however, any racers that are planning to race at Cape Breton Dragway this weekend, could also join in the fun. Watch for Tony’s Facebook post at 8:30 tonight.
Our 2023 poster is now in circulation and this serves as a great reference point for all of our wonderful sponsors that assist us in so many ways. Please consider these fine supporters when you’re shopping for and goods and services.
There’s was several projects on the go at Cape Breton Drayway on Saturday and special thanks to all those that contributed to the cause all day. These works parties are necessary to make sure the track and all it puzzle pieces are race ready. Great job by those that attended.
Also, this past week also saw the installation of the scoreboards at the track and they will be a welcome edition. Kudos to the guys that made all these pieces fit together so nicely.
These photos for tonight are from the file dated September 4th and feature some of the Pro Class racers at Cape Breton Dragway.
That’s my deal for today, hoping to see you all at the tracks this coming weekend as the points chase for all five classes gets underway. Play safe and have a fun week.
