Here we are at yet another sunshine filled Monday. Getting ready for my night shift but wanted to share some kewl racing images before that begins. First, here's good friend of mine and motorcycle drag racing legend, Steve Campbell. These photos are from the NHRA National Open from Medicine Hat, Alberta this past weekend. Always a steady performer, Steve was number 1 qualifier on both days, but just missed it in the end. Next, Tony MacNeil and Michelle Hazel have created a pretty special "MAJOR TRACK FUNDRASIER" and its has really taken flight. Excellent work both by the event organizers but as well by the drag racing community. Well done folks cause the drag strips operate on a show string budget and this form off help through these COVID-19 times, will mean so much. Tony MacNeil Michelle Hazel Now, I have selected several photos from my September 14th file at Cape Breton Dragway. Please enjoy them To finish things off for tonight, I had chatted a bit with Shawn Leudy last week as he continues to apply the finishing touches to his 'Cuda restoration. Shawn figures his project won't take much longer since he's waiting to bolt on some final pieces of trim and bumpers. This is really something pretty special to actually see this unfold before our eyes. Great craftsmanship. That's my deal for today. Don't forget to have fun and stay safe. Oh ya, and WASH YOUR HANDS.
