Well I am currently working on recovery of some additional VHS tapes, and while I'm at it, I've decided to redo a video I collected at Drag City Speedway in 1985. Pieces of this two hour + video have been shared around but I'm gonna try and use this time to get things lined up a bit better. There's has been very little cropping to this video because I wanted everyone to have their moment. I've edited only the unuseable parts. I'm pretty sure the first two videos are from Saturday action. Then the third video, it begins with a complete pit area tour before going into some pretty exciting racing action. These videos all feature the commentary of the legandary Norm Pickrem. Please enjoy these and share them around. There will be many videos because it looks like we're gonna be here for awhile, so I hope this helps. I'm gonna start you off with three tonight, but I'm going to try to share one per day. Enjoy . . .
Please enjoy this fifth and final video of my Drag City Speedway collection. If anyone has any additional Drag City Speedway VHS moments I would be glad to save them and or share them around. Please enjoy this video and share as necessary.
Thanks for the nice comments and I'm really glad that racers and families are enjoying this look back in time. As I'm still limping along without one component, and in a effort to get all these old videos organized, tonight we going back to 1986 and a video that my wife and I made at Campbellton, New Brunswick. Yes, it was quite an adventure and they really packed the place that day. Please enjoy the sixth Lockout video and share as you wish.
Well now lets see what's on tap for today. I believe we will check out a short piece of one of the Maitland VHS tapes I have. This video I first uploaded several years ago, and as we still await some gear, I can assure you we will have many Maitland videos to share in the coming weeks. Hopefully, these videos will serve to shine some brightness into wherever we're headed. Be safe everyone and enjoy some drag racing from August of 1986. Sorry about the wrong date appearing on the video screen. I'll have to wear the credit for that one. LoL
