So quiet on here lately I thought I might start a thread about everyone's plans for the 2019 season. Specifically - what changes are you making to your race vehicle for the next season? Post a pic of your vehicle if you can and a list of changes you're making for 2019. Note I said race "vehicle" instead of car because some of us have TRUCKS. Changes for 2019 1. Swap 4.30 rear gear for 4.88 2. Rear brake upgrade drum to disc 3. Install 8 point roll bar 4. Install an alternator

I have a few changes on the go also. Going to change from a belt drive to a chain drive . So I can have a better final drive ratio. A little bit of maintenance and maybe a wash.

The ACSSA has several new Stockers that are aiming to make a debut during the 2019 season, adding to the 30+ cars already active in our series. My own E/SA 1971 Camaro Z28 project is slowly coming along and will hopefully be one of those out next summer.
In addition to new local cars, word is spreading among "away" racers that the NHRA National Open in Miramichi is a great race to attend, and we are optimistic that the number of these visiting racers will continue to grow!

After being out of the seat of the dragster for three years, this would appear to be a notable change. Mike and I picked this up in the fall so Brandon and I could see what all the fuss is over the two wheeled machines (plus two little ones out back). Not as fast as Mike's rocket, but should be a good starter bike. Previous owner figures it will go mid tens with the stock 1100 gsxr motor. I know Brandon will ride it, now I just have to find the nerve to try something without a roll cage and five point harness....should be interesting!! Chris Two wheelin by Chris O'Neill, on Flickr

Well, on Dawson's "kijiji pig" I changed a ball joint, new rear hub and bearing, couple wheel studs that were iffy. Regular oil change and check over. Want to hook up a switch so we can change between running the electric fan when we want or leave it in auto mode. The mustang....there not enough space here to list all the work left to go but the first priority is a heater in the new garage! I have 220 power now, just need a welder hook up so I can reinstall the roll bar. 512 days until I retire...not that I'm counting or anything.
