Day one is in the books, Arriving at the track a little after lunch, with track rental day we had lots of opportunity to try out our gear. After the few moments I had to soak things in, we onloaded our cars and hit the tech shed, after clearing tech I went up for my first pass, Just to get my bearings I figured we go easy, 12:50 at 115mph..not bad just short shifting and missing the shock setup a bit...60ft. was waay slow..so as I make my way down the return road and pick up my time slip, I figured it was time to weight the car, after a winters worth of dieting I would finally see what we gained...3405lbs!! my min weight is 3398lbs and with 10lbs of ballist in the car I couldn't believe we hit it that close. That was a big releaf and now we could start working on those shocks...after some more tweaking I finished the day with a 11:50..so with an off day today we trailered to Boston for a day at DMC performance, they are Working on Jerimiah and Mikes X275 mustang today...stay tuned.more later.

Day five of our Epping adventure, after making a run yesterday the skies opened up and it started raining Hard,so it was a wash, but I was able to pass tech and receive Grade point#1,this morning it is still raining but they are calling for blue skies and sun around lunch time...actually it's almost stopped now and you can see breaks in the clouds...good to see a Maritime contingent including the Howes family, Billy Ervin,Malcolm London,Dave Anthony, and of course myself Jay and Mike. This whole experience has really been a real Bucket Lister for me!!! We are already talking about the National in June and hoping that one Grade point would get me in...ill post later the results from the day...

Wow!!!! What a week!! Just heading home now almost the the N.B.border,the whole drive home has been filled with stories of our our travels, Saturday was really the highlights of my week, waking up to heavy rain the looked to threaten the days event, like a giant water faucet the rain shut off and blue skies started making its way all around the dragstrip, beautiful temps and clear skies meant for a perfect day for racing! After making a few suspension adjustments I was anxious to get the first pass in, 11.50 @117.00 it hooked! So hard my foot came off the throttle!..60ft 1.75.. so next run I of course held my foot the the Floor...11.03 @ 117.89. 60 ft @ 1.43 much better!!! So first round of random pairing I was lined up against Vic Santos and with a few nerves I took the tree. 497 red!! And with my foot to the floor 10.999 on a 11.00 dial..60ft 1.42......missed the perfect run by that much!!! Wow..finally broke the 10 second barrier...so all smiles when I picked up my time slip...even with a loss I got what I came for!!!....a great job goes out to Billy Ervin for his r/u in SuperStock taking out Santos in round 3....a great time was had by all and I will include pics soon...
