Well as you can tell by the pics from the car show, the NAPA AUTOPARTS ,HARPER FAMILY RACING , Super Stock Dodge Mirada has a new look for 2014.Since January we have been working hard to find that extra little bit of performance and also keeping with the NHRA Rule Book making sure the car complies, after not being to an NHRA event, since the late eighties, the car needed such upgrades as a locking Trans dipstick and tube,Transshield, fuel check valve, the car also has gotten STRANGE front brakes,Koni double adj rear shocks, front billet wheels,MSD upgrade,as well we have worked hard to scrape some access weight out and so far we have gotten close to one hundred pounds out between the firewall and rad support areas.that weight will be better behind the driver and will aid in weight transfer for sure.A huge thanks goes out to Jerimiah Lounsbury and the crew at JM Motorsports as well as Sam and my dad Frank for all your support! The past few months have been busy trying to come up with the funds for the trip and I would like to thank the following Sponsors for their help with this years racing season:
NAPA AUTO PARTS CANADA......... Ron Kelly Trucking.........Sussex N.B. JERON Trucking.............Bouctouche N.B. Driveline Truck and Trailer..Summerside P.E.I. Goguen Truck and Trailer....Moncton N.B. B.C. Auto Repair...........Salisbury N.B. Goggin signs and graphics...Salisbury N.B. INDY IMAGES...
With only a few weeks until Epping and garage time being hard to come by with so much on the go,ill do my best to keep you all up to date on our progress leading up to and including the race .STAY TUNED!!

OK!!!!! ... Ever bite off more than you can chew??..I figured I would take a look and some of the wiring on the car the last few days ......Well??...I ended up totally rewiring from front to back, not only did the thirty sumthing wiring look a little scary I knew for sure that it would be in my best interest to totally strip and replace all the old wires and run some new relays and fuse blocks,so after finishing that up last night and having the Trans gone over and adjusted tonights job will be to install that, with just over a week until we leave it looks like a lot of late nights...

all that extra metal up against a stock floor pan must be a pain in the a$$. but if you remember uncle john's Omni the day the tourque left it's intended position behind the crank and bounced around for a while, as I did standing about 3 feet away, you will be happy it's there. if nothing else for peace of mind.
