 Is there a Sport Compact class at CB Dragway for all races or is it only once a year? |

This email caught my interest too since my old VW is a Compact even though it's not very "Sporty" LOL.

I guess I could have asked at the last meeting but I never even thought about the Sport Compacts until I got that email. Now I'm seriously interested in running my VW in this class(if it exists). I guess I'll find out on Friday.

I'll try and help you out here. The Sport/Compact guys that might have the answers you're looking for, can usually be found at the following link.

Another option would be o contact Robert Hogan, cause he was one of the guys the set up the deal in 2011. Here can be reached pretty easily at 902-574-1735 RTH Performance.
The CBDRA schedule has been out for months and can be found at this link.

The one thing that I just noticed is missing from the schedule is, the Cape Breton Dragway Quick 8 Event, and for those that missed it, here's the poster for the 2012 Quick 8 story.
I'm also a member on the JDM site and I've tried several times to get these guys cranked up about drag racing on the track, but I've not had much success. With that being said, I was with some guys working on an 11 second Civic tonight and they plan on layin down some laps this weekend.

Thanks for the reminder on the Quick 8 date - I will have the schedule page fixed up in a few minutes. Can't seem to find anything on that JDMstyle website about an actual Sport Compact class for this year at CB Dragway although I see Greenfield Dragway has one.
