Great pics - two generations of awesome Mopars and IMO the baddest factory hot rod ever made. I wouldn't trade that T-bolt for a dozen Hemi Mopars or ZL1 Camaros although I think it should be Wimbledon White instead of black......

Amen, your preaching to the choir now....LOL ....One of my future builds, a 460 powered t-bolt clone....My Mercury was built on the same chassis, very light for the size of them.

Dave Powell owns a beautiful example of the same type of car, although we don't get to see it much anymore unfortunately. It's pretty understandable that he would rather run his 'Thunderchicken' than pushing plywood down the quarter (been there, done that), but notwithstanding, it's a REALLY cool ride! Did you notice in the initial pic of Chris' car versus the new Challenger that they really look very similar, but it looks as though someone used the air-pig to blow up the car instead of the slicks on the newer car, LoL

A real t-bolt went across the block at Barrett Jackson at the Scotsdale auction this winter, It went for big dough. Really nice burgundy unit with an Mickey Thompson mill too.

. . . and so I reached into the drive and landed a few pics. First pic was from Vegas 2011, second is a Dave Powell pic, and third was from Vegas 2010.

Well, being a chev guy you might say but I have worked on alot of Ford stuff over the years, 406's, 427's, 460's, 520's and to me comparing or saying the Thunderbolts (which were great)were the best Fords of all time, it's like comparing a 409 to a 396, those new SS Mustang's I would say are the best Ford product of all time, only an opinion and we all know about Opinion's
