Information for the 2012 version is out on their facebook page at: www.facebook.com/events/249841755055666/I am sure they will post the info on here soon anyway. A few changes I have noticed...they have added an 8.90 class, heads up, .400 pro tree. This could be a popular class with the amount of mid 8 second cars we have around. Throttle stops are allowed. They have also changed the 10.90, 11.90, and 12.90 classes to a .500 pro tree which should accomodate some of the heavier cars in those classes. Dragsters are no longer permitted to run these three classes. With all the discussion of safety with the faster cars, it is worth noting they will be the first to go to 1/8th mile racing for the faster Outlaw and Drag Radial classes at this event. Should be some good close racing in those classes in this format. This event also has guaranteed purses for all classes, with a rain date to make sure the money does get paid out. Just as an example, the 8.90 class shows $800 for first, $400 for second, and $300 for third. These amounts are guaranteed no matter the car count in the class. I attended this race last year and had a great time, and by the looks of things this year will be even better. I hope I managed to get most of the information correct, but if not I am sure someone will correct me...lol. Chris O'Neill
