VHS tape was recently found and converted into a DVD format. Great to play at home here, but to share online, the DVD format has to be converted, this time to an AVI file. In the Movie Maker program, you can crop it up into short segments, and then you upload through You Tube.
This is an very amateur 8 minute video segment from pretty large file. Hopefully this stuff can still be enjoyed. Pass it on. Stay tuned for many more to come.

The good old days....great stuff Indy!!! I will be forwarding that link on to the old man for sure. It sure use to take us a long time to get to the line with the dual burnouts and then the spin in the moose juice...lol. Couldn't help but notice the missing body panel in the motor area. That can only mean we just finished changing a starter in the staging lanes, a chore we did more times than I would like to remember...lol. The big 468 liked to chew them things up!!! I can't wait to see some more of your collection, this was an awesome flashback. I have to laugh at the big deal they made about a 16 year old licensed Super Comp driver back then...lol. Today, that is every driver who jumps out of a junior...haha. My substitute for a junior was sticking around the Pennfield track after the races on Sunday and waiting until they towed all the equipment away. I learned to drive that dragster when I was 15 so I was all set to go when I hit the big 16...lol. I still have the time slips from my licensing runs that I made under the watchful eyes of my father and James Cowie. My first full pass was an 8.63, and big Paul from the track wrote on the time slip "you've arrived"....ahhh the memories, I could go on and on. Thanks Indy!!!
