Was late last Sat when I took the pics so I never went any further. Went to take the spool out this morning. the cap bolts on the side away from the ring gear were torqued as they should be. The other side was a different story. The bolts were at about half the torque of the other side and had to be wrenched all the way out. Looked close the cap was not sitting flush to the case, turns out the bolts are stretched and bent, cap appears to be in good shape. Will have to get a dial bore gauge and check the bores with new bolts to see if cap is out of shape. May be karma catching up to me for dissing dragster drivers. ;D ;D ;D

No , it's just the Ford thing . At least they circled the problem .....
