Folk come on out to see this insane Pro Mods they put on one wicked show!!!!! Who knows if they will be back here and it's not every day you can witness 7000HP side by side Pro Mod Racing in Atlantic Canada!!!! Jack Grainy went 4.17@186MPH yesterday in the eighth mile and at 2.8 seconds into the run he was off the pedal!!!!! Absoulately Lethal!!!! He showed me the computer graph of the run and had it been able to run it out that car would have went 5.80's @ 250MPH!!! He has said look out today as Bruce and Himself got a handle on this track!!!!!!

Well after a few days it took me to recover from this wild event Trevor Moulton Motorsports and Miramichi Dragway have to thank some people and give some details of the event. First the sponsors of the event without your support we couldn't put this show on. Thank You for your continued support in 2011! HEMI HOUSE CENTRAL AUTO & EVANS 2000 AUTO MACHINERY DEAD END AUTO & CITY TIRE AUTO PRIDE & DMR AUTO NETHERVUE PLACE BLUFF HILL INDUSTRIES With beautiful weather all wk end long brought out roughly 3000 people through the wk end. What they saw was some awesome heads up racing! The local racers were fast this yr as the track had teeth which showed in stellar ET'S! one example was Chris Woods in Drag Radial a car in which he built himself and has upgraded over the past 10+yrs went into the 7's and huge MPH(185). He is the first local racer in radial to go into the 7's! There were many racers who went faster than they ever have gone before, this is a traditional Noonan Nationals. Huge kudos to all racers who came out to the event and run there best! The PRO MODS what can i say, well they came raced each other hard and put the connecting rods through the oil pan on both cars, if that's not saying how hard they were trying i don`t know what is, before they had misfortune on Sunday on there 4th and 5th pass Jack Grainy from New York had went a 4.30,4.27 then 4.17@180+ in the eighth. Had he not broke we were in for some unbelievable ET'S. Bruce Boland from Stoney Creek Ontario followed suit with Jack in ET'S until the 4th pass in which he broke the track record in the eighth. He went 4.07@186, just blistered it to the eighth before getting close to the rail and dumped the run and ended up with a 6.56@156. A stellar showing by these guys. They needed 3-4 shake down runs to get data for the track conditions and it showed as they were getting quicker every pass they made and had they not both broke we could have seen some wicked ET'S but that's racing and we have no control on mechanical part failures. Bruce, Jack and there crew both said they really enjoyed the event, and all the people here and could not believe what a show this was this far East. They have been to alot of places and alot of tracks and this event was to the top of there list. They said MDP and i quote"we can run fast here" we been to alot of tracks some better some worse but this track is very good! They said they WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR and said look out, they got some data to work from and it will be wicked!
Last but not least Mr Shaw in the Shadow, thank god you are alright after that horrific wreck! THE CAGE IN YOUR CAR DID IT'S JOB! The car can be replaced where as you can't my friend! Here's to see you back next yr!!!!!!!!!!
