Well I will leave the weather topic alone because like most of you, I have no control over it.
Tonight I'd like to direct a salute to the track crew at Cape Breton Dragway. The CBDRA has an excellent group of hard working volunteers who always seem to get the job done, and everyone did a fine job. Next a thank you to all those who traveled great distances to participate in the event. To the class winners, congrats on mowing down the field and there was lots of close racing. I also have to mention, seeing some new names in the later rounds was pretty neat. I'll reference the Leudy's '67 Cuda, Joe Pastuck's Big Block Duster, and also there was Trevor MacKinnon in the Mustang. Trevor found himself in the Pro finals against the veteran Greg Gillis.
I managed to click off a few pictures of the day and then this morning I collected an additional 500+ photos from our good friend George White from RaceVu. I'll be sharing those as time goes on.

Is that 68 Cuda the same one John Zegray used to have?

This is a car built by Shaun and Michael leudy from New waterford from the ground up, debut made at the CB dragway, finished runner up in super pro against Jason McNeil, with Michael Leudy doing the driving. Well put together as you can see, car ran staright as a dime mid 9.00"s all day in the heat with the mighty Mopar engine b/w the fenders. Johnny Zegray still has his car in the Mira area " King Cuda".
