Does anyone know what NHRA's problem with crate motor cars is?
It must be only a matter of time before they allow them, All that the CJ's and DP's are is glorified CM cars.
By the looks of classracer's boards it seems most everyone is now fine with those cars being there, just not the unfair factoring.

My guess is that they just choose to not have it because IHRA had it in their program and other parts of IHRA and NHRA are the same but they just change it slightly as to make it different. Not sure if that is what the reason would be but it's just an observation lol. Give it a short time and as now the sanctioning being mostly NHRA they will adopt the crate rules I am sure but might put their own little twist on it to make it their own, but still stay mostly the same lol

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for NHRA to change their mind on including the original Crate Motor cars, Chris, despite allowing what amounts to crate motor combos in the new Cobra Jet and Drag Pak entries. Any further developments in NHRA Stock and Super Stock will likely be aimed at attracting more of the new cars, and not at adding even more classes.
