Welcome to another edition of our Monday Nite Indy pics. We enjoyed a whirl-wind tour to Moncton for Radical Speed Sport show at the Moncton Colesium this past weekend. It's always a fun event as we say goodbye the season of white and welcome the season of green. The photos today are a reflection of what I saw on a quick tour of the building. Thanks to all those folks that organized, participated, and promoted drag racing at the show. Well done everyone.
For those folks wondering about Bruce Howatt and his condition, we were quite fortunate to spend some time chatting and personally I thought he looked wonderful. Athough his life-style has really changed, he was the very same kind hearted fellow that we have all come to know and love. It was really awesome to be chatting again with such a great ambassador of drag-racing. Hanging around the ADRA booth and chatting about racing was kewl start to the 2019 season.
At one point Bruce introduced me to Jason Vallis, as many of you may already know, Jason was the first responder that applied his skills and without a doubt saved Bruce's life that day last July. Here's a group of photo from the show.
Ray Smith, Richard Boyd, Jason Vallis, Bruce Howatt, and Roy Matthews
Here's the lady that has endured all 708 editions of Monday Nite Pics
As Berny would say, the "Old Farts Club", Berny Corscadden, Richard Boyd, George Estabrooks, & Jim Burns
That's my deal for today, play safe and have a fun week.
