Huge thanks to everyone that came out to support our little event this year. People are really starting to realize just how awesome Miramichi Dragway is.
Fridays TnT session went very well and there was a gamblers race in the evening with Jason Macneil winning the Box class, Chad Ramsay in No Box and Nathan Hoskins in Junior class. Michelle Hazel cleaned up in the practice tree tournament..winning twice.
With the exception of a quick rain delay in the afternoon, Saturdays program went well and was completed and the big winners were all local boys, Chris Hobart in Box, Peter Rogers in No Box and Jensen Green for Juniors.
A good time was had by all on Saturday night at the bandstand. There was dancing and singing...and maybe 1 or 2 cold beverages...
With conflicting forecasts for Sunday, the program got started a bit early. Unfortunately a few incidents caused some delays which prevented us from completing the program before the rain came. Payouts were split evenly amonst the remaining competitors in each class. Big thanks to the staff and volunteers who helped clean up a couple spills in record time.
Once again I'd really like to thank everyone who came out and I truly hope everyone had a great time at the track. I'd also like to thank everyone who helped us out putting this on, friends, family, sponsors and of course the track staff who always do an exceptional job at giving us a safe place to play.
Next up at tbe park is the NHRA PC Richard National Open. Hope to see a good turnout for this event.
