FYI: I just noticed the list of accepted aftermarket products was updated yesterday to include some crankshafts.
I thought that was interesting, that's all.

Yep, a complete shortblock for the popular combinations can now be built without using a single OEM part. The heads, intake and carb are all you need (plus a good sized chequebook! LOL)

Ya, for sure Kelly. But there are 4 cranks (3 BBC and one S/B Gen 3 Hemi) that are good to go. They are on the same list as pistons, rods, blocks, ect.

As far as I can tell Jeff, I think you can build a 375 hp 396 or 402, carb to pan from brand new parts. You can use 401 heads and 359 manifold from GMPP and a Quick Fuel Technology carb. I could be wrong...it happens.

You Mopar guys are just envious! LOL Actually, I believe that some 426 Hemi combos for Stock can also now be built from all new parts. Several other combos are close, with only an OEM intake needed to complete the package.
