Bought myself a present some time ago, a Dataquest data acquisition system. Have a couple more sensors to hook up and configure but they got put off in the mad thrash to go racing. After some fits and starts I got a clean data file at the end of the day. Screen shot did not come as big as I expected but does show what data I do get. 7.5% converter slippage I think, I was whomping trying to close it up so the engine rpm is not as accurate as it could be. Put some jet in the carb thinking the plugs showed lean, but a 12.4 avg AFR says I am a little on the rich side. So I to the jet out for the trip to Greenfield. Get some data from a full pass in a time trial.

Was that during a race or time trial? Cuz by the look of that red line, there was a bit of peddling going on before the RPMs drop

Jeff stackhouse Not as good at it as I used to be and you have to be a lot tighter now. Ray only left me a .005 window and I could not get in there, he was under by .001 so giving up the stripe would have worked but everyone knows I can't do that. ;D ;D ;D
