Hey Folks,
If you were at the drivers meeting on the weekend, you heard Kevin mention that signing up online is not the only way to collect donations for the Cancer Society and get your chance to win the grand prize at our PINKS race. He mentioned that you could pick up pledge sheets from the canteen, from myself or himself or from www.racewaypark.biz at any time.
For those of you who picked up pledge sheets on the weekend, or those of you who downloaded it from the website, can you please send me a quick email to pinks@racewaypark.biz with your name and car number, so I can add your name to the list of racers who are contributing. We want to let everyone know who all is involved with the fundraising, giving them the opportunity to throw their support behind you! I will individually reply to everyone who emails me. So if you do not get a response in 2 or 3 days, please contact me here.
You may turn in your pledge sheets to the tower during any race meet, or to myself or Kevin at any time. We will compile the numbers and submit the donations to the CCS on your behalf. We will also be keeping a master record of who all is involved in the fundraising (both online and offline), along with your totals, to ensure you get your name entered into the draw for the grand prize.
At any time during your fundraising, if you wish to update your total on the raceway park site, all you need to do is drop me a quick email to pinks@racewaypark.biz with how much you have raised, and I will update the stats and leaderboard. Those of you who are participating online, of course, this information will be updated automatically.
Remember, collecting donations is not required to attend this race weekend. However if you want your chance at the grand prize trip to the GatorNationals in 2013, you need to gather donations!
If you have any questions about any of this please feel free to drop me an email, and I will do my best to get you the answer.
Thanks for all your patience with this as we get it sorted out. It is a first for its kind in this area, so we are pioneering the process!
