Nice looking mill!! I'm running the same block. 460's are torque monsters. Might be a dumb question, but is the benefit of the oil line connected to the two ports?
And might be my monitor, but the shade looks a bit too dark! ;D

I like the dark Ford blue, not much for the light blue. ;D...The oil line is just a paranoia thing....Some BBF builders recommend it due to poor oiling at the rear and some say it's not needed but I say for the little cost involved - why not. It used to be really popular to do with the Clevelands back in the day from what I've read.
What's your estimate on the HP seeing as your running a BBF???

Did you drill / tap the rear port? It's pretty small. That's where I take my pressure from, it's usually higher from the front port, so if I got good pressure at the back, the rest of the motor should be fine I would assume. Based on the info at 460ford.com, I would say you're in the territory of 450-500hp. Mine is a very similar build except I'm using ported aluminum CJ heads, Victor intake, more cam, and a 1050 Dominator. This is a pretty good HP reference chart for the 460. www.460ford.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119213

"ported aluminum CJ heads, Victor intake, more cam, and a 1050 Dominator. "....These will be my upgrades if I need/want more HP. ;D....Your's have a solid roller cam?. I didn't drill the rear larger, it's 1/4NPT. I could use aluminum heads, aluminum rad to take some weight off.
