Since it is very quiet on here - I figure instead of just googling this question I would post it here.
Does there need to be some type of electical safety built into a powerglides trani-brake button - in case a person was to touch the button during a run ?

Benny, some of the newer delay boxes have adjustable lockout features that prevent accidental lockup.
Can't wait to see your BIG small block perform in the new ride !

Hey Ron .
I have been keeping the new car thing kind of secretive - but hey - it is Cape Breton - and the word has spread .
I am getting pretty anxious with the new ride . Although the no wheelies is going to be an adjustment .
500 lbs lighter 7" lower 4 link + struts power glide 9" with new 4.10 gears just installed ( car had 4.29 ) alot of electronics to figure out
I just fired it up yesterday for the first time (my pump gas 434 )
Hoping to be in PEI in 2 weeks for some time trials

Hey Jeff .
There are no secrets in drag racing .
Yeah I plan to bring the new car to Billy Capsticks (Sketchline Design ) for new decals and some kind of a new name .
I installed all new lexan and I am going to try to get the decals done this week .
May see you in 2 weeks - pending all goes well .

hope your front tire budget is good. i mean the other car kept them in the air so long they are probably original to you since you bought it. tires never wear while hanging in the air. and a big adjustment for you, watching pavement for a 1/4 mile rather than pickin a cloud to guide you..............

LOL - That is funny Jeff !
I am hoping this set-up will be more consistant and maybe even result in more white slips once the learning curve is over-come .
I liked looking at those clouds though ! ( LOL )
