This board has been really quiet lately so to pick things up a bit I've got a couple of things on my mind.
The first will envolve some scenes for the 2011 TEAM RACE. The first picture is a salute to the winning Team. The photos in the middle are randoms from the weekend, and the final photo was Faber Mackie arriving with his Cape Breton flag at the award presentations.Next item, I just want to make sure everyone is aware that there has been a slight schedule adjustment with regards to Cape Breton Dragway. For the 2012 season the Wednesday Test and Tune events will be moved up to Friday for the June and September races. For the July and August events the test and tune will take place on Thursdays.
So here are the new test and tune dates
June 22nd Friday July 19th Thursday August 23rd Thursday September 14th Friday

Now Jeff, as Team PEI's most outspoken cheer-leader, you really don't have to make excuses about under-achieving the goal. Personally I thought Team PEI posted a very honorable attempt and just came up a bit short. As with any "TEAM" concept, you engage your members and do your very best. Just so that all of our readers are aware, the four competing teams were comprised of racers from all over Atlantic Canada, that qualified for their positions on each team.
I haven't checked the "official" entry list but I'm pretty sure Team PEI (for the last 3 years) has had members from a couple of other provinces. Just sayin' . . .
Anyway, it's all good. Hopefully everyone will go get their game faces on and start collecting those important points, and thus secure a spot in the 2012 Team race.
