Hello everybody. I'm back but on "light duty" - this is the first time I turned the computers on since Tuesday AM - actually the first time I have even been able to sit upright in a chair since I've either been in bed or the hospital.
You've all heard of sciatic pain and kidney stones but I'll bet I'm one of the few that actually have had both at the same time. The stone is gone but the back pain requires enough painkillers to kill a Clydesdale and a lot of time in bed in a specific position.
The back problem came from rolling around under the truck welding for days in weird positions and lifting the Mig welder cart up onto the shop's step in a big hurry when the rain started. I actually knew the second I closed the shop door I was going to have a problem.
It sucks to be overweight, over 60 and still think you can lift or wrestle around heavy stuff like you were still 16 LOL. Best part(other than the painkillers) is that I am on the mend but this is going to put off any work on my truck for awhile.

hope you feel better soon don,i know the pain you feel i have same back issues and been a long 3 weeks but thankfully hasn't got to the point of missing work yet but sure puts a damper on working in the garage getting ready for opening day lol my car,tow rig and trailer all need repairs and opening day keeps creeping closer.

In the same boat here - my truck needs to get finished, the race car(VW) needs 2 brake lines, a gas tank strap and a starter and the trailer needs to be inspected but that doesn't need any work. At least I've got until June to get it done. |

guess that's what i get for opening my big mouth lol been stuck on the couch all weekend unable to move because of the pain geesh ain't life grand at times
