I bought a roller - the old Aabel Fuels 87 Mustang GT. I have a 468 BBF to power it along with Bob Morse's trusty old C6 for a transmission (built by John Croft) The car had a 460 in the past with a front plate so mine will too. It came with a AJE tubular k-member and lots of other go fast parts. I have a Cervini fiberglass hatch for the car to save some weight.
My engine was rebuilt about 5yrs ago by a friend. It has Forged flat tops on stock rods so I'm planning on a rod upgrade. The crank is std and it will likely need machining and new bearings. The comp ratio will be around 9.8:1
I also have Bob Morse's old D2 interceptor heads that went 11.60's along with is trans. They have a nice port job. I've been working on some trade deals to gather up stuff. Bob's trans came with 2 converters, one 3500-3800 and one around 4000-4500. As for a cam - I have one slightly used .580" lift cam coming in a trade as well as a 460 swap pan. Here is the card.

The big ticket items I have to buy are BBF hooker swap headers, roller rockers and a CE motor plate. I have a 750 Holley VS carb and a Offy Port-o-sonic single plane intake already on the engine. Any input from the blue oval crowd on "must do or good idea" for the 460 build would be appreciated. I'm well versed in the SBF but this is my first BBF - I will be doing the engine assembly as always. ;D....Foot braking a reliable 400-450HP is the realistic goal for now. ....I'm all jacked up to hear this thing running by spring.
