Can anyone tell me where to find the Stock Class Truck HP factors? Did a LOT of searching and had zero luck. All I have are the weight breaks in the rulebook.

Thatr's where I was looking. Downloaded most of the Excel files from 1988 to 1999 and I couldn't find any full size Chev trucks listed. Lots of S-10s in there but only with the V6.

The only Chevy full size pickup accepted is the 1990 454SS. It has to be Reg cab 6' fleetside box, It has a weight break of 12.13, and the 454 is rated at 255(GM) and factored to 310 by nhra. Automatic only, and Stock eliminator only.
You can find it on the Class Guides at the bottom of the 1990 Chevrolet page.
On a side note, I'd love to build one! lol

The only Chevy full size pickup accepted is the 1990 454SS. Actually, the 1986 Chevrolet/GMC full size pickup is also in the guide in both fleetside and stepside versions. Two engines can be run; either a 262cid rated at 189HP, or a 350cid rated at 165HP. Obviously someone has run the 262 hard enough to get the HP factor bumped up, as it's now much higher than the 350 even though it's 88 cid smaller! These combos fit in GT/SA (Index 13.65), HT/SA (Index 14.45), and IT/SA (15.25) depending on the engine choice and the body style.

Dammit - now I'll be hunting Kijiji and the salvage yards for a 1986(ish) shortbox. I've got to learn to stop wishing out loud and posting it in a public forum. The scary part is I have a complete carb to pan 1986 GMC 350 sitting in Dad's garage.
