Craig, I noticed it still has the GIGGLE GAS bracket in the trunk, is this one going to be on it or just all motor.

had it running for a few mintues today to break in the cam but after 2-3 minutes had to shut it down...water was leaking out from under both heads and water was getting in the oil...pulled the top end off and the only issue seems to be the head gaskets themself...I put SCE Titan copper gaskets in and they are "supposed" to be self sealing but they seem to be junk...going to put the Fel-Pro I normally run back in and take another kick at the cat

I've heard that the combination of a high powered ignition, bad grounds and certain antifreeze ingredients will actually eat copper head gaskets in a process similar to electroplating. Even a lot of welding will produce a similar effect on "dead soft" copper like the kind normally used in head gaskets.

i've heard of those problems before too...the head gaskets I used were just junk tho...I checked everything over and all seems to be in check so i started to reassemble with the Fel-Pro gaskets i've been using for about 8 yrs without a single issue, once i get the time to finish piecing it together again all "should" be good lol
