Several of our local Stock & Super Stock racers also compete at NHRA National Events, where several times each year they run class eliminations in addition to the regular Stock & Super Stock eliminators. Most of those racers are likely already aware that major changes to the program are in effect for 2011, but in case you're not, here are a couple of links which explain the new format:

While there's no question that the new program has been received with mixed emotions by the racers south of the border, it will have minimal impact on our guys, as the new Drag Pak Challengers and Cobra Jet Mustangs with their soft HP factors have already made winning any classes they are in a nearly impossible feat. (I say nearly impossible, because John Armstrong still managed to do it against the CJs at Indy last year!)
