After much consideration, Gerry Clow and Rick Wilson have made the decision to discontinue their running of Stk/SS events. Gerry and Rick worked hard to keep these classes alive in the Maritimes when interest was at it's lowest, and we thank them for their dedication to Stock & Super Stock.
That leaves the Stock/Super Stock Challenge Series as the only active Stock/Super Stock series in Eastern Canada. We have added a race at Miramichi to our series for 2011, and our finalized race dates are as follows (all will take place on the Saturday of ADRA weekends): Greenfield: June 18th PEI: July 2nd Miramichi: July 30th Greenfield: Sept. 24
There will be plenty of additional info to follow early in the new year, but just posting the above announcement and the finalized dates will do until the Christmas rush is behind us.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

That would also mean the Stock/Superstock Challenge Series will inherit our Stock/Superstock page. Lots of room there for links, news, pics, rules or whatever you may need. Just send it along and we'll look after it all. We've also added the dates to our 2011 Calendar - should show up on the page within the hour.

Will you be going with the I or NHRA classes for this series? I think last year was IHRA.

Thanks for your question.
Our rules were reviewed at our November racers' meeting and it was voted to keep them unchanged for 2011. Thus, our series will continue to use IHRA rules, indexes and horsepower factors. The same few minor differences will remain; most notably not having any heads up races when same classed cars are paired up.
The 2011 rules can be found at the top of this forum. We are currently working to finalize a couple of exciting details before we begin posting updates on our 2011 plans, but stay tuned as the information will start to flow very soon.
If anyone else has any questions please post them and they will be answered promptly.
