Pretty much finished. I ended up relocating the MSD box under the dash. After some tinkering here and there when I had the time, and with lots of help (Thanks Mike and Hillbilly!), she's finally together, and Mike and I fired her up for the first time yesterday!! www.facebook.com/home.php?#/video/video.php?v=76567400009&ref=nf

Although I started real late, I still had a great time in the last few races of 2008. Lots of weird looks in the pink Pinto! Made the trip to Miramichi which was a blast! Had a lot of bugs to work out with the car since it was a fresh build ground up, but everything worked out pretty good, no major breaks!! Only a few Ujoints from having the pinion angle a little out of whack. Fell a little short of my goal of 12.00 with a 12.23 @ 108. 60fts around 1.60's. I'm sure there's more to be had in the little 302, and my gearing/tire height was really killing me. Only got a 3.80 gear and a 28" tire. I'm crossing at only 5300 rpm. So for next year, besides 4.11, maybe 4.30 gears, I might go with a shorter slick. Also, getting a complete new top end including a pair of Canfield 195's prepped by Jay Allen, a Jay Allen solid roller cam, Vic Jr intake, and a custom Pro Systems carb. I'd like to put out a huge thanks to Mike MacDonald, and "Hillbilly" Luc. There's no way I'd would have finished this thing if it weren't for you two. With my limited knowledge (and limited garage space!!) I really appreciate all the help. Geez, Luc drove over from Port Elgin many times just to help me get my car ready! Plus he's a huge Ford guy! ;D Here's a few pics from the last few races I made it to.
