Picked up a new car for racing last weekend. Just a rolling chassis so I have to put together an engine and tranny for it. Here's a couple pics:

You found a good one there! Martin spent a lot of time making that car light(and strong). Here's another shot of it a few years ago at Raceway Park PEI. It was in the mid tens then with a small block and as I recall it went pretty straight and could hook up in a snowstorm ;D

Yeah we picked it up in Balmoral, NB. They guys name was Bernie Grimes, he had it for about 2years, it was origanally from PEI he said. This one is gonna be small block Chevy, I don't like to crossbread cars . I just ordered up some parts to build a screaming 302 to fit between the fenders

Ironically this car is a clone (minus the 14 x 32 tires) of the other Whynot Racing car. Martin was a great guy and always fun to talk to, just was a shame to find out he had sold the car. It hooks hard and goes straight as an arrow to. Was a good investment on your part Craig.

bought it rolling chassis as well.guy building 69camero so he is putting drivetrain in that. its gonna be big block eventually(i have496 stroker stuck in my head) in the begining it will be 355/383.it has a grand national 8.5" 10 bolt in it already (may go 9" i have one the right width) so it a good start.
