Brian's Mustang got done just in time for the CB Dragway season opener. The "weak link" turned out to be the spider gears which parted company with the carrier on Sunday AM. That's it behind Dave Reardon's Camaro.

yes the stang was done as Doc has replied too. I have not been on here much of late do to working on the car. lol The 7.5 ford rear end that is in the stang now is history i have got my hands on an 8.8 rear end with a detroit locker with 410 gears and a set of after market axels. Actually i will be putting that rear end in tomorrow morning. But thanks for checking into my project and if you ever want info on this car just go to http:/woodysracing.tripod.com

boo..i really dont like the SBC in the mustang, i understadn the ease of finding small block chev parts, but, i really think i a little ford 302 would of worked good. i have a 90 and ran mid 14s stock while you have a worked 350 running best of 15.90?
did you do the body conversion??? because thats a 87-93 front end, and also the coupe's didnt come in gt, thats a 87-93 gt body kit on it.. i think it looks good.

15.90 in second gear I do believe, he said on his web site that it has not seen " HIGH " gear yet. I can assure you that once the bugs are worked out that 13's is definitally in the future, that is if he uses high gear. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes Stangmann you are right that is not a Gt it was a mistake on my part when i first got the car there was a GT sign on it and just assumed from there. And this weekend i hooked 14.0 with my stang at 100.67 and can assure when she gets her carb all set up and a few other things that have to be set on her she is deff going to be in the 13's. Plus I have to put a shift kit in the tranny because i was floating the lifters on my runs do to taking so long to shift.

not those fellows from up north. probably would have amazed them to have a stock 5.0 and run in the 13s instead of the 15s or maybe they just have to have their automatics. lol
