Well our NHRA National Open is again in the books, and again it was an unforgetable weekend. Even though it
hot, it was 4 days of absolute SUN. With every race weekend there is highs and lows and this weekend was know
exception. All action was abit subdoed on friday evening after our good friend Bruce Howatt had some health issues
that really tugged on everyone's heart. A BIG kudos to everyone involved and a huge Thank You for Miramichi Dragway
and NHRA for having the people and tools in place for these times of need. With the good news on Sat. that Bruce was
doing great and him wanting us not to worry it was back to the racing action.
Story of the weekend has to be Mr. Brett Ramsay, from his very respectful drive friday night to absolutely destroying
everyone else in his path the rest of the weekend. Brett picked up 2 Wallys and a ADRA Super Pro win to make it a
triple and all the while being one of the most humble and respectful young man you'll ever meet.
This race has stepped up everyone's game so much over the last few years it is astounding. I can't count how many
times i looked up and seen .90 on the scoreboards. A big Thank You to TRANS WORLD DISTRIBUTING our series sponsor
for keeping our series alive and well so we have the support and talent to host this race. Also to our Race 2 and 3 sponsors

BRETT RAMSAY DEFEATED BRUCE HOWATT IN THE FINAL TO CLAIM THE ARSENAULTS CYLINDER HEADS RACE #2 TITLE.
8.90 CHAMPION
MARK GREEN REMAINED UNDEFEATED IN THE 8.90 CLASS THIS YEAR BY MOWING DOWN ALL ON COMERS IN ARSENAULTS CYLINDER HEADS RACE #2.
9.90 CHAMPION
VITO BOSCA MADE IT BACK TO BACK WALLYS AFTER DEFEATING BENNY NIESTEN IN THE 9.90 FINAL OF THE ARSENAULTS CYLINDER HEADS RACE #2.
10.90 RUNNER-UP
BRUCE HOWATT WAS RUNNER-UP AFTER DEFEATING CHICK COUGHLIN IN THE SEMI FINALS.
