Just got word that Scott Underhill is heading to tear-down. They just set the National record for E/SA at the Divisional in NH this morning. Congrats to Scott and Borden!

that's both good and bad. the good; setting a record is quite an accomplishment the bad; going through the tear down is a pain and those maritime boys will clear that i'm sure and have a celebration when they return home...

We made it through the tear down barn and got the E/SA record on Friday. Had it all back together to run the third qualifier Saturday morning.
Thanks to the Howes family for the use of their golf cart and towing us to and from the barn. Also thanks to Malcolm London who stuck around for most of the process to lend a hand turning wrenches with Dad and I. Quite an experience to set a NHRA record, something Dad and I will never forget.
Thanks, Scott

A big CONGRATS to Scott and Borden for getting the record with their trusty Pontiac! 10.75 is pretty darn stout for E/SA and a Record Certificate for your wall plus your name on the National Records page of National Dragster are fitting rewards for all your hard work!
