Ivan Noonan just emailed us to let us know that he's been able to reschedule a family function and will now be able to be in Miramichi with his Pure Stocker Camaro. That brings us to 22 cars; one more than our previous attendance record! There are still a couple of racers that are trying to get other things taken care of in order to attend, so we may add even more entries to the list before race day. As long as Mother Nature graces us with good weather this weekend, we should enjoy our largest field yet!

Those of you on the list; please check to make sure that I have your correct class listed and if not let me know. I'm in the process of reworking the Tech Sheets to add multiple class info, so if you run more than one class over the course of a season let me know that too, and I'll put the weights and Indexes for both classes on the sheet to make the Tech process easier and quicker.

As far as the group photo, it's a great idea if we can get everybody together to make it happen. Probably after the meeting is the best time to catch the maximum number in one place?

In less than 48 hours the ACSSA Race 3 should be in the middle of qualifying, and at 22 cars it'll be our biggest field yet! In fact, rumours persist that in addition to those already on the list at least one or two other racers are also strongly considering making the trip. All I can say to them is "What's holding you back?". At 22 cars the Winner will get a cool $600 out of a total payout of $1600! At 24 cars the Winner's share goes up to $650, a pretty good payout for 5 rounds of racing!
The weather forecast is decent; sunny with a chance of showers, and with the warm temperatures and long summer days I'm confident that Mother Nature won't stand in the way of a good race. See you there!

I want to go watch but I don't think I can make it in the morning. If you had to guess, what time do you think first round eliminations would start roughly?

I want to go watch but I don't think I can make it in the morning. If you had to guess, what time do you think first round eliminations would start roughly? I understand that the track plans to start running cars at 9AM. As a guess only, if we run Q1 by 10 and Q2 by 11 we might be in position to run E1 as early as just after the lunch break. Again, this is a guess only; I don't set the track schedule and could be wrong! John; make sure you look me up and say Hi while you're there!
