where did that nova go you where driving. that would make a nice stocker Back to the owner. Hopefully we'll see it out this season. Has a little motor done up for it. I'll be interested to see how it compares to the 383 that was in it. Stocker would be cool too, especially now that 3 speeds are allowed in Powerglide only combos. 327 with a TH200 would be neat, although it would be another G/SA car. I guess a 4 speed would change that... Chris, looks like I have to get caught up then. Any photos of how to neatly attach the unaltered intake manifold once I machine the heads as shown below? I use a really thick gasket and hope the intake doesn't break when you zip it up.

Two words, Right Stuff! They sell it in a big caulking gun tube, and it looks just like cast when its dried! They also have gasket material for making the 3/8" intake gaskets all the 340's came with LOL

I spent most of my money on an engagement ring so my participation will be limited to watching from the stands again this year and dreaming about Stock/Super Stock cars. You should of found a used engagement ring,a lot cheaper. My wife will have one soon for sale.

I was at Gary Keans' place over the weekend, and his mid-90's Firebird Stocker project is coming along nicely. The old drivetrain is out, the roll bar is fitted and ready for final welding, a complete 12 bolt with brakes is ready to install, and enough factory LT-1 castings have been acquired to build the engine when it's time to do so. He's planning for a 2014 debut if all goes well.
Jeremy's freshened shortblock was also there on the engine stand, and his heads were on the bench ready to install. Knowing these two, I'm sure that their winter's work will result in further ET improvements for Jeremy's good looking Camaro!

I was doing some stuff yesterday and was told you were up spying.
Putting heads on this evening. I should have time to put the valvetrain together as well. Then the intake will be the final piece to put on some other day.
There are a couple other trinkets to put on the car once it's out of the trailer. I'll wait until May 24th to know if there is ET improvement or not. Hope it's not too depressing.
Someone get some info from Jack. I heard he did stuff this winter.

I was doing some stuff yesterday and was told you were up spying. Ya gotta improve your defences if you don't want your secrets to get out! Check with Jack for tips; he seems to know how to keep a lid on things......

youth and exuberance seems to be very concerned with old age and treachery. as it should be, but the young kid was quite successful last season. but he is on the right track keeping an eye on the old guys, but you won't get to see what he is holding till it counts....
