CB Dragway July 15-16-17. This year we're going to change it up a little bit to include dial-ins. It will be 8:50 and quicker, $100 to enter and ALL entry money will be paid out on a closest to the dial-in no breakout runoff either paired with another of the "8" or on a single run for the more "squirrely" individuals.
If you choose to make a single run you had better dial it hard because the winners are determined by closest to the dial-in without breaking out and we will pay back three places. Quickest ET of the weekend gets $500.00 PERIOD - no strings attached and this $500 DOES NOT come out of the purse.
We're calling it a "Quick 8" but if the interest and the low ETs are there we could expand it to sixteen and the purse would expand to suit the number. Since this is a closest to the dial event the fastest car will not necessarily win the purse but he will win the $500 for the quickest ET.
More information to come - stay tuned to this thread for more details.

Great news today for the dudes with the addiction to low et's. The Cape Breton Drag Racing Association will host their 4th Quick 8 ET Event at Cape Breton Dragway on July 15, 16, and 17th.
Racers will have 3 days to set the low ET mark for the 2011 season. As an added twist, this year we plan to salute the ET record holder once again, but we will also run all entrants against the clock to see who can run closest to their dial in, without breaking out. This will be a single round shoot-out. Entrants can choose single passes as they compete against the clock.
The big show-down is set to go at 1PM on Sunday, right before the eliminations begin for the ADRA and CBDRA points chases.
Here's a copy of the latest event poster and please note, we're still trying to secure an event sponsor. With that being said, the poster will be subject to changes once we have a confirmed sponsor. For more info you can email indynut@hotmail.com
