Plan on being there if weather is fine to show support on Saturday. Will not have the car there this time. Hope motor will be back together for Stock/Superstock events later in the summer. Parts are on order and work has begun. Just need a little luck to get everything in time.
Don't suppose I could pass off the street car as a pure stocker with the dual quads and the 5 speed LOL.

Scott I'm afraid that the street car idea won't fly, Scott; not even with a letter from Jim Wangers saying that stuff was original equipment! Good Luck with the Stocker repairs: hope to see you back out there soon!

(Updated June 10)
It's great to see all the interest in the upcoming Race 1 of the Atlantic Canadian Stock/Super Stock Challenge Series! I've received confirmed entries so far from the following racers:
01. Mark Howes, SS/JA 1971 Duster 02. Chris Howes, B/SA 1970 Challenger 03. Jack Keirstead, J/SA 1976 Nova 04. Wayne Deveau, GT/CA 1980 Starfire 05. Alan Harper, SS/KA 1980 Mirada 06. Keith Johnston, S/GT 1980 Malibu wagon 07. Ray Ingram, I/CM 1969 Chevelle convertible 08. Jody Noble, K/S 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS 09. Terry Knapper, I/S 1978 Camaro 10. Chris Chapman, G/PS 1982 Monte Carlo 11. Kelly MacKay, G/SA 1972 Demon 12. Jeremy Keans, G/SA 1985 Camaro 13. Greg Nickerson, B/FIA 1995 Firebird 14. Don LaVoie, D/SA 2003 Corvette
Plus these racers have indicated that they are coming but I haven't received their paperwork yet (hint, hint!):
15. Dave Garland, SS/IA 1967 Camaro 16. Bill Sheppard, H/SA 1973 Duster 17. Trevor Ervin, B/SA 1970 Nova 18. Malcolm London, L/SA 1980 Malibu 19. John Armstrong, SS/BA 1969 Corvette 20. Fred Thibeault, B/SA 1969 Camaro
For the first time since starting our series last year, we anticipate a field of 20 or more Stock & Super Stock cars! Remarkably, this record field is possible even with four of last year's regulars unable to attend. There's at least one more car that has a good chance of being there, and others that could still show up. Wow!
Another positive aspect of the larger field is that it will increase the payout. With a 20 car field we will be paying the Winner a cool $600.00. Just one more great reason for anyone sitting on the fence to get their race car dusted off and come join the fun!

Although Mother Nature may throw us some curve balls, we're still full steam ahead for this weekend. Many of our group will be there tonight to get sorted out for tomorrow. Hope to see you there!
