I know quite a few of them, l to r standing, bill sheppard, john armstrong, stan brenan, allyn armstrong, sam harper, l to r sitting, vince hazel, dad, and bruce riley, who has'nt changed in the 35 years i've known him, and dad's hair is alot thinner, less of it and gray now!! lol

thanks to Hal Schumann for the photos. just a couple of notables in there. if you were around pei in the early years you got a written time slip and theres a couple of shots of paul poole in this batch with him in them. he hand wrote a lot of them over the years. now the pic of a guy laying down in what kelly mckay would call heaven, a truck full of beer, is none other than our buddy James O'Connor. nothing more needed there.!! paul poole is also standing beside the only person in the world that could make it rain on the sunniest of days, Myrna O'Connor. a lot of people fell victim to some of Myrna's hi-jinx either from a water pistol from the second floor window or possibly a plastic spider in a pay envelope. she was always up to something and we sure do miss her. there is also a shot of a much younger Kevin power and he's with two notables as well. although Merrill Cronin has his back to the camera theres a great shot of Doug young as the 3 socialize.

Thanks to Jeff Rhodenizer for getting a bunch of old Maritime Drag News papers scanned. We've combined them all into a downloadable PDF and uploaded them to our Google Docs account. Note: there's 118 pages so it might take some time to load in your browser or save to your computer. Just click on the image below and ENJOY.

give the thanks to jack kierstead as he saved these gems from being recycled as a kitty litter box liner.

Neat to see the old Drag News . Hard to read some of it , but cool to see that some of the racers from back then are still at it .
