Well Race #4 of the TRANS WORLD DISTRIBUTING PRO TREE SERIES
is now in the books. We saw 29 competitors converged at Cape Breton
Dragway to participate in the Ideal Electric/Timberlake Construction Race #4.
After 2 rounds of qualifying, it was
Greg Powers taking the #1 spot in the 8.90 class.....
Benny Niesten in the 9.90 class....
Tony Mac Neil in the 10.90 class
10.90 was the biggest field of the day and when all was said and done it was
Chick Coughlin getting his first win in the series.
Runner-up was the always tough Brett Ramsay.....
Semi finalist were Mike Burns and Bruce Howatt
In the 9.90 class it was great to see a couple of new faces try out our series,
and at the end of the day they'll be back....
Taking home the big check was 2nd year veteran Benny Niesten.....
Runner-up went to Robert Hogan in only his second PRO TREE race.....
Semi finalist was Josh Goodwin....
Lastly was our 8.90 class where Jason MacNeil once again took home the top honours....
Runner-up went to Lorne Buchanan
Semi finalist were Mark Green and Greg Powers
I want to thank all competitors for making it a great event and hopefully we will see you all at the season finale in Miramichi in Oct....
P.S. Points will be updated in the next day or 2....
