With the Inaugural NHRA National Open at Miramichi now just a few days away our field size continues to grow! Welcome to Greg Nickerson, Guy Desjardines, and Eric Merrifield! A few other New England racers had planned to come but breakage over the last couple of weekends, or personal or work commitments forced them to change their plans. The growth may not be done yet, as I know of at least one other racer who is still hoping to join the party!

I am bringing the Dakota, a street car and the beagles. Dragpak is at Bob Broadbents getting a much needed rear gear change and a fresh clutch disk. Due to my baseball team needing a catcher on Thursday night, I will not be likely getting there in time to test, so my stick 70/71 challenger is staying home.
It will be relaxing to drive just one car in the eliminator for this open! Toronto wasn't too bad, Napierville is always kind of rough.
Weather outlook looks pretty nice, I think I saw a high of 73 on Saturday.
Not sure if the track takes credit cards(which will handle the currency conversion automatically), or if they will do the math at the gate for US cash, which as of today, the $200 is 151 and some change, rounding up to 152.
Eric
