I want to go watch but I don't think I can make it in the morning. If you had to guess, what time do you think first round eliminations would start roughly? bring that rackity old nova up and race it.and bring the giant killer with you.

My Nova is a 14 second street car that I doubt would be legal for any stock class...Someday. Who is the giant killer?
Jeff, I would have liked to spent a bit of time talking to you and some of the other S/SS guys but I was only there for a few hours and wanted to see as much racing as possible...maybe nest time. I hope no one got too wet from the tsunami that passed through.

Scott Underhill will be posting a complete report within the next few days; covering our Race 3 at Miramichi this past weekend, but I just wanted to say THANKS to the TWENTY FIVE Stock and Super Stock racers who came to race! In addition to the 22 racers on our original Roll Call, Chris Howes, Billy Ervin, and Trevor Ervin also participated, and because of everybody a new field record size of 25 Stock and Super Stock cars was achieved. This is the largest group of Stock/Super Stock cars to be seen racing at a Maritime track in at least 30 years, and it is totally due to the committment shown to the cause by these racers and others. I can hardly wait to see what the future will bring!

It is truly amazing to see the stock and super stock presences change in the Maritimes over the past few years, it has gone from being nearly non-existent at most maritime drag strips, to having a well-established association that has 5 annual events at 3 of the Maritimes Main drag strips. The most resent showing at MDP, of a 25 car field is proof that things are going in a good direction, and is only going to get bigger and better from here!! Keep up the great work guys! I also would like to on behalf of all the racers from the ACSSA association send Chris Howes and his family our love and support! It was great to see you behind the wheel again, and we look forward to seeing you behind the wheel in the future Chris!! Stay strong, and know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!!

Yes , great to see Chris at the races and behind the wheel! Chris and his family is in our prayers.
Also great to see the competition between competitors after qualifying session number 1. Lots of activity in the pits to take the top qualifying spot. For those of you who missed it you should hang around the stock/superstock pits to see what can be done to wring everything out.
A few years ago one second under would likely claim the top spot, now one second under will land you in tenth spot on the qualifying sheet. Something to be said for friendly competition and sharing ideas between racers. Lots of hard work being done by many.
See you all in PEI.
Anyone thinking of going class racing now is the time to jump on board. Great association and a series to be a part of.
Scott
